Shell is moulded black and has been  professionally painted gloss black at it's last recertification in 2004. Very glossy and looks sharp. Has not been used much since. Shell is very clean inside and out. Padding very nice also. Has been thoroughly cleaned and does not smell. Inflateable bladder holds air and is inflated. Mask is in  good shape but has a few nicks. Shows less than the  normal signs of use one would expect.
