This was by far Dale's finest effort as he shot over thirty hours of film and took two years to produce. This is the rare publicity program that theater owners would get in order to buy publicity material for ads and for their lobbies. Golden Breed flopped on the big-screen circuit; very,very few theaters booked it and therefore you virtually never see any posters or promotional items from this film - most all materials were destroyed. The late sixties was a cultural turning point - much of the footage Dale Davis shot in 1966 was passe by the time Golden Breed was released in 1968. Extremely rare surf movie program. Place a Bid!
