For sale are the following eight (8) Wilson tennis racquets: 1) Wilson Prostaff Original 6.0 Midsize 85 Condition: NEW Grip Size: 4 3/8 2) Wilson Hyper Prostaff 6.0 Midplus 95 Condition: NEW Grip Size: 4 3/8 3) Wilson Prostaff Tour 90 Condition: NEW Grip Size: 4 3/8 4) Wilson nCode nSix-One Tour 90 Condition: NEW Grip Size: 4 3/8 5) Wilson K Factor KSix-One Tour 90 Condition: NEW Grip Size: 4 3/8 6) Wilson Prostaff Original 6.0 Midsize 85 Condition: NEW Grip Size: 4 3/8 7) Wilson Prostaff Original 6.0 Midplus 95 Condition: NEW Grip Size: 4 3/8 8) Wilson Prostaff Original Midsize – made in St. Vincent Condition: USED Grip Size: 4 3/8 Each racquet, with the exception of the St. Vincent, is BRAND NEW and has never been strung nor played with. Each new racquet comes with its original tag and plastic sleeve wrapped around the Wilson leather grip. In addition, each racquet has its original hologram, barcode sticker, warranty registration card, and grip size sticker attached. Lastly, each racquet, including the St. Vincent, comes in the highly popular 4 3/8 grip size. (Please see many pictures below). I sold a similar collection of racquets a couple months ago. This lot is my absolute, last, remaining stock. You will notice, included in this collection, are the retail market versions (i.e., not the actual versions) of the tennis racquets used by Roger Federer throughout his playing career. (see brief description of “Federer’s Famous Frames” below.) In addition, included is the St. Vincent Prostaff, the fabled racquet used by Pete Sampras throughout his entire professional playing career. (see description below.) Lastly, I’ve included an additional Wilson Prostaff Original 6.0 Midsize 85 and a Wilson Prostaff Original 6.0 Midplus 95, which is discontinued and hard to find in brand new condition as well. This is the ultimate racquet collection for any Wilson Prostaff diehard. In addition, these racquets are a great collection of nostalgia and memorabilia for Pete Sampras and Roger Federer fans. I have included below, many, many pictures of the frames and some great photos of Federer and Sampras for your enjoyment. Federer’s Famous Frames Throughout Roger Federer’s career, there was one constant mainstay in Federer’s arsenal—a Wilson tennis racquet. Beginning in his junior years, Federer used the Wilson Prostaff Original 6.0 Midsize 85. Federer not only won his first ATP tennis tournament using this frame, but in 2001, Federer used this frame to dethrone Pete Sampras at Wimbledon. Thereafter, in early 2002, Federer began using the Wilson Hyper Prostaff 6.0 95 (technically, these frames were Hyper Prostaff 6.0 95 paint schemes on variations of the Prostaff). Federer first had the Hyper Prostaff 6.0 95 paint scheme on the Prostaff 6.0 85 and then on a 90 square inch version of a Prostaff. After the transition period, in 2003, Federer began to use the Wilson Prostaff Tour 90. With this frame, Federer won the 2003 Wimbledon championship and the 2004 Australian Open title. After the 2004 Australian Open, Federer began to use the Wilson nCode nSix-One Tour 90. Federer used this frame to win an amazing 7 grand slams, including the Australian Open in 2006, the Wimbledon championships from 2004 through 2006, and the U.S. Open titles from 2004 through 2006. Beginning in 2007, Federer started using the frame that he currently uses— Wilson K Factor KSix-One Tour 90. With this frame, Federer won the 2007 Australian Open, Wimbledon, and U.S. Open titles. Federer also used this frame to claim a Gold Medal in Doubles in the 2008 Beijing Olympics. All the frames I have for sale are the retail market versions of the tennis racquets used by Roger Federer throughout his playing career. In addition, the grip size of these frames are 4 3/8, the grip size preferred and used by Federer. (please see many pictures below) St. Vincent Prostaff The legendary status of this frame is owed partly to tennis greats like Stefan Edberg, Jim Courier, Jimmy Connors, Chris Evert, and Mary Pierce to name just a few. However, it was Pete Sampras who made this frame famous, as he used this racquet for the entire duration of his professional career and claimed an astonishing and record-setting, 14 grand slam titles! The version I have for sale has the following characteristics of a genuine St. Vincent: Butt cap code: KYQ; leather grip—Fairway by Balmforth; squared-off grommet channel endings; red primer; and black-colored, matte finish.
