According to Werner description, this paddle should be used roughly 10cm longer than your normal preferred length to get the benefits of the larger blade area. Paddle is fiberglass, and feels very light weight. Weighs roughly 44 ounces. This paddle is a few years old and is a discontinued model but has barely been used.
