It is a Osage Orange Longbow that has A Rawhide Face Backing, Horn Nocks. and Leather Grip. The Bow has a Left hand Rest made of a small piece of leather that can be relocated to the other side if one wished. The Bowyer Followed the Grain and Twist of the Wood that is Typical Of Vintage Osage and yewwood Vintage bows. Giving the Bow character. I do not think this Bow is still a shooter but that will be up to the new owner Osage and yew have a lot of resilence still after many years. I  have had it Hanging on my wall for more than 50 years. The Bow length is 59 inches. The Wrapping on the Limbs near the Handle is only docorative , You Do not find Many of these anymore they are getting Harder to find this came out of a estate sale 50 years ago i got it along with a Yewwood Bow Of the same vintage That I will also be selling on ebay....Let me know if you have some interest.. email with questions.
