It has 3 holes like a bowling  ball to take the lid off and inside is a place in the center to hold your tobacco and it holds 6 pipes. The lid says Bowling 300 TK 1165 Bowler's Decanter. It shows wear on the outside but isn't cracked or broke. It is in great working order and would be a great conversation piece for a bowler. The inside looks brand new so I'm not sure that it was really ever used. I inherited it over 20 years ago.
