Vintage 1974 Harley Davidson 398CC Snowmobile Start Price USD 350.00 Current Price USD 350.00 Time Left - Bid Count 2 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Saturday, September 06, 2008 End Time Saturday, September 13, 2008 Location Spring Lake, MI See more about 'Vintage 1974 Harley Davidson 398CC Snowmobile' Description 1974 Harley Davidson 398CC Snowmobile up for bids.  This sled will be a great project for the Vintage Snowmobile Enthusiast.  This sled is in good shape except for some minor cosmetics.  The left ski is slightly bent, slight dent in the right front of the snowmobile nose, the seat cover needs to be replaced (cushion is still in good condition), wind shield has a repaired crack that is slightly visible, not sure if the electric start work or not, I never used it, and a plastic drive cog in the rear that needs to be replaced (inexpensive part avalible at your local snowmobile dealer or on the internet).  All of the repairs could be done with little cost and little time to the highest bidder.  The snowmobile has been stored since the winter of '07 with the gas run dry so there will be no gas varnish build up in the tank or engine.  This sled was given to me by my uncle who had it stored for years in his shed.  It was to be a project for the kids to have fun with.  I took the time and went trough the engine and got it running with little effort.  The things that I needed to replace were the gas lines and drive belt.  Everything else is original.  The kids are older now and not really interested in the snowmobile.  I would like someone to enjoy this Vintage Sled.
