I bought this housing in September of 2007, brand new. I am the original purchaser and owner. It needs to be with someone who will actively use it. This housing will fit numerous Sony cameras, so you aren't locked into one camera. I like the Sony 408 and bought one brand new for the housing. It is a 4 megapixel video camera and is absolutely great for video. This is a fully electronic camera housing, There are no mechanical levers through the housing. Power on and off, and zoom are outside of the housing and are electronic. There is one small superficial scratch across the outside of the lens, which does not interfere in any manner with the video that I was shooting. This setup cost me $2500.00 without the camera. The housing and sll parts was $1900.00 from Diver's Direct in Orlando, Florida. The Video Monitor Back was purchased from Diver's Direct also for $600.00. The camera was another $700.00.
