Description
Attention eBay: This is a toy which only shoots 6mm plastic bb’s and is not and cannot be made to fire live ammunition. It will be shipped with an orange tip as required. This is just a toy and should be used responsibly. The seller is not at fault if the buyer misuses the item. Again this is just a toy and cannot fire live ammunition. Sellers Notes: I will only ship to the Continental USA, no shipping overseas on this item! It will be shipped in two pieces (stock and barrel) to save space as it is long and heavy No returns. Item sold as is. Bipod is not included. Now off to the description: I hate to sell this rifle but I need money to fund other projects (mainly a new car) I only bought it to look good but now it is time someone else gave it a good home. I have never taken it onto the field. It has probably 75 rounds through it to test the mods out. I'm the second owner and the first owner (who created the rifle) only put about 50 rounds through it. This started out as a USR 11. The stock has obviously been modified (with fiberglass and wood) to make it look like an M40a3. The outer barrel has the exact dimensions as the real M40a3 1.25” at the base tapering down to .900” at the muzzle. There is also a fake barrel lug that was added to give the outer barrel more length. The barrel is also modified so that it now has a free floating barrel system. The front block was cut in half to keep the magazine release and free up the barrel. It was also ground down at the threads to be tightened into the receiver and not need any other mounting points. This did not affect how anything with the cylinder head and the hop-up unit functions. It has a continuous barrel spacer going the length of the outer barrel to the tip and is surrounded by a few solid spacers and sand fills the gaps between those so the weight is pretty heavy. The entire weight of the rifle is heavier than any airsoft rifle I've ever held. The magazine button was extended due to the new stock dimensions. The magazine itself is the same except there was an “extension” added to make the bottom flush with the bottom of the stock and a strap was place around the plate to help in unloading the mag. The magazine was also modded with a piece of sheet metal to press against the magazine bb feed button consistently to fix the common problem with USR’s. The mods to this rifle cosmetically aren't exact and seem a little big but they do grow on you. Plus it is a custom stock and after seeing reviews I believe this one is better than a Fortress stock. The Fortress stocks are tending to crack and only come with the stock for almost $400 were as this one is better, custom, cheaper, and comes with a whole rifle.Internal Mods: - Spring Spacer - Removed Weights - Teflon Taped Cylinder Head - Bored Out Cylinder Head - Tapered Cylinder Head - Polished Trigger Box - Bushings fitted into the trigger itself and the trigger box for a solid crisp trigger pull All mods were custom done. There are no aftermarket parts on this rifle what so ever. FPS shot at a consistent 400fps on .25’s so FPS should be 430 on .2’s.Gun Will Come With: - 1 Rifle - 1 Modded Magazine - 1 Scope (the one in the picture) What the Rifle Needs to be better:- 489mm custom inner barrel to fix all the way to the barrel lug - I will include a 430mm (stock VSR barrel) that does work with the rifle
