The fact is if you are touring in most countries throughout the world, such as South America, Australia, Africa, India, middle Alaska, Canada - any place other than the Western Europe or the lower 48, you need a mountain bike, but one that you can easily control the travel.  This bike has 700 rims so you can put on 30-32's and lock out the suspension and beat the riding quality of any road tourer.  Then when you get to the good stuff, put back on the 700-52's and unlock her and away you go! This Titus RacerX 29er is ready to take you anywhere in the world and made some distance each day.  It even comes with the complete touring package including the B.O.B trailer with suspension, Vega Light, Specialized computer, paniers, Old Man front rack, Top Pack mud guards, and spare parts.  All the shifting cables are shielded. At my age my big trips are done, but this bike isn't.  She still lusts for dust and high adventure and I'm only thinking of return trips to New Zealand. She is ready for Barrel to Barrow and I'm thinking Pickton to Queenstown.  She longs for the open road.  No I will not sell her into a lowly life of some local trail rider, she wants to go big or just stay in my garage. Condition, she is in excellent shape; some surface stuff and the Durace chain is half way through its life.
