The Admiralty Brass Ferrule allows you to set the offset of the blades to the angle of your preference. Originally designed for canoes, double blades were very common until the early 1900’s. They provide a dry and very efficient way to paddle canoes and touring kayaks. This is the 9' length in all spruce construction. I bought this paddle for a Thomas J.
