Description ColtriSub MCH6 Stainless Steel Cabinet Model Portable Scuba Compressor with auto drains This is a brand new (2007 model), Italian made portable air compressor that is perfect for personal scuba diving or paintball use. This model is mounted in an all stainless steel enclosure for additional safety, corrosion resistance and convenience.  This is the first pick for our yachting customers. The compressor is four stage, four cylinder, air cooled and splash lubricated. Plus, it has an air filtration system that delivers scuba and fire department grade clean and dry breathing air.  It is driven by a 115 VAC electric motor.  This has auto condensate drains that operate on a timer. It is outfitted with a safety valve to prevent compressor damage from over pressure.  It comes with a fill hose and yoke or DIN style scuba filler, a new filter cartridge and enough high grade synthetic compressor oil for the first 50 hours of operation. It also comes with a full one year manufacturer's warranty.   Specifications are as follows: Capacity 3.5 SCFM Max Working Pressure 4500 PSI max Speed 2400 RPM Noise 77 dB LxWxH 27x15x14 in. Weight 97 lb.  The Coltri Sub MCH6C has long been known for it's quality and reliable service in Europe and many "clones" are marketed in the US under the names of MaxAir 35C, Holugt HL120 and lots others with great results.This is the last of the 2007 models and 2008 models have been hit with a pretty stiff price increase due to the Dollar Euro imbalance and oil related problems.  This one should not be missed as it may not be available at this price again!  Plus, since there are tons of distributors of the compressors, parts are very easy to come by. As outfitted, the full retail on equivalent machines is well over $5600 so my starting bid is VERY competitive! In fact the price has been dropped over $200 to get it sold before the price increases hit. Plus, we don't add a huge amount on to the shipping like other sellers. CAUTION: High pressure air can be hazardous if handled in a negligent way.  If you don't know how to read or are incapable of following the directions provided, and/or you aren't able to safely operate a compressor, please don't bid.
