RV Thetford Aqua-Magic Galaxy/Starlite Flushing Toilet Start Price USD 75.00 Current Price USD 79.51 Time Left - Bid Count 3 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Wednesday, August 20, 2008 End Time Wednesday, August 27, 2008 Location Mount Holly, Vermont See more about 'RV Thetford Aqua-Magic Galaxy/Starlite Flushing Toilet' Description RV Thetford Aqua-Magic Galaxy/Starlite Flushing Toilet Hello and welcome to my auction.  Up for your consideration is a very nice new toilet from Thetford.  This is the Aqua-Magic Galaxy/Starlite Model.  I will say now that I know nothing about these toilets.  The tag says this is a GH, GL, SH and  SL model?I am listing this for a friend.  This is the story I got behind this...  She bought this from an elderly lady who was cleaning house in VT to move to Florida.  Her late husband purchased this toilet new for their RV camper.  He started to install this toilet when he noticed that he did not need to replace the entire toilet but a small plumbing piece once the old toilet was out.  So I was told this was never fully installed or ever used.I am not a plumbing expert, but I will say this is incredibly clean and does not appear to have ever been used.  The protective film on the top of the toilet is still there.  I have the original box, and what you see in the pictures.  I see the base of this unit alone can get around $50 on ebay.  So this would be great as a spare or an update to your existing RV toilet a great saving over a new one. There is a little rust on some of the internal linkages, etc.  In my opinion this is from sitting in the garage or where ever it was sitting?  Just surface rust and not rotted away.  Before installing this, you could put some oil on it to stop any future rusting.  It looks like some teflon tape was used on the fittings.  It does have that look like it was partialy installed, but never used.  This is the way it was told to me, and the way I will present this toilet in this auction.
