Description
Brand new, never been used, still with the protective wrapper on.  Prince 2006 Triple Threat Volley Titanium squash racquet.  Royal blue/black/silver coloration.  This is a terrific racquet for an intermediate and up level player.  It is loaded with technology to improve your game and is a terrific deal--well worth the money.  Here is why you should consider this racquet---You may have heard about Triple Threat--it is the hot thing in Prince's top of the line tennis racquets and now it is in squash racquets for the first time as well.  Triple Threat with Tungsten places titanium, copper, carbon and tungsten in three critical racquet locations: 10 o'clock , 2 o'clock and at the bottom of the handle. A phenomenally stable racquet design is created, with a huge sweet spot for more power and precision than ever. It optimizes the weight distribution for perfect balance and maximum stability while enlarging the sweet spot.  So--you get light, strong, and responsive all at the same time--that's the big deal.  The racquet head is in a teardrop shape with a twist--instead of perpendicular stringing, the strings are set in a power fan.   The strings on the vertical axis all fan out from a concentrated area at  the bottom of the racquet head--that fanning allows longer stringing to be used with a more concentrated central area where the majority of your shots are struck--MORE POWER, LARGER SWEETSPOT.    All told, the enlarged sweetspot, particularly at the top of the racquet is ideal for dealing with an opponent who is feeding you balls that leave you glued to the wall or stuck in the corner. This is the latest, greatest thing in stringing technology and becoming the standard in high-end racquets. This racquet is elevated several notches by the addition of titanium to a graphite base.   What's the big deal about titanium?  Simply put, titanium is the strongest metal pound for pound.  With it, you can have an incredibly strong frame without it being excessively heavy.  Stronger frames resist breaking which is always important and allows for greater rigidity helping you have more accuracy and transferring more power to the ball.  If titanium is so great how come everything isn't made of titanium?  The answer--cost.  It is super-expensive.  So, to get a titanium based racquet for an affordable price is a rarity.   The weight of this racquet is 160 grams unstrung. That's about average these days for a high-end racquet.  Optimal racquet weight is more a matter of personal preference and it should be noted that top of the line racquets are typically not the lightest in the line (true for Dunlop, Prince, and Head).  It is assumed that you are hitting the ball properly, with force, in the right spot almost always.  To get the power necessary to drive the ball tactically, a little more heft is needed.  The overall accuracy and power make it an unbeatable combination for the right player.   This racquet features a mid-sized head.  At 70 square inches (456 square cm) it is fairly typical and familiar size and allows for an optimal balance of racquet speed, balance, and accuracy. However, the engineering behind it creates a larger sweetspot in a mid-sized head giving you a greater margin of error.  That is crucially important against a highly skilled opponent.  Frequently you have adequate time to set up for and make a nice return but the true test of an excellent player is how you perform under pressure, off-balance, in an awkward stance, pressed for time--a better racquet gives you an edge under conditions like this.  Against a skilled player, they are trying their best to put you in such a position all the time.  The racquet comes pre-strung with Prince's own premium racquet string.  Finally, the racquet is equipped with a protective lightweight, low-friction plastic covering on the exterior, particularly around the topmost part of the racquet.   After you've broken your first few racquets scraping returns from tight rail shots or digging a well-placed ball out of the corner, you'll appreciate this little feature.  Also included is a full-length racquet cover complete with a pouch for balls and a strap to secure your protective eyewear/goggles. We are offering this racquet at a super-low price with no reserve.  We are proud to be PowerSellers with a 100% positive feedback rating--how many sellers can say that?  We also ship immediately upon payment and are glad to ship internationally anywhere in the world.  I am an experienced squash player and would be glad to answer any questions you may have.  Good luck!!!
