Description
I am an inventor and currently hold 4 US patents and 1 Chinese patent of occupant pedaled skateboard and scooter, and an additional US patent pending for my much innovated scooter invention. The 2 attachments show the brief specifics of all my patents; I will furnish information of my US patent pending upon further interests. The picture shown is the workbench prototype of a 2-wheeled occupant pedaled scooter, using multi-gear drive mechanism. The rough-in dimensions are 36"(L) x 8"(W) x 42"(H), and has a top design speed of 17mph. The scooter has a simple patented occupant pedaled rotary drive mechanism for continuous forward motion. It also has a hand steering wheel for maneuvability, and hand (or foot) brake for safe stoppage. Although the prototype needs further improvement and refinement, it, nevertheless, demonstrates the simplicity and feasibility of my invention. Judging from the late ground pedaled scooter craze, although faded fast due to its clumsiness and lack of patentibility, a patented, innovative occupant pedaled scooter might just rejuvenate the market for a 2nd wave of scooter frenzy. The intended end-users for my patented scooter are youngsters of all ages, as well as some adults who are ever ready for something novel, exciting and different. The production cost per unit could be as little as $35.00 if mass produced in China. In my estimate, the development and production time from this stage on is about 9 months or less. The scooter can be competitively retailed for $100.00 each. There are 30 million youngsters in U.S. If only 10% of them would purchase my scooter, the U.S. retail sale alone could reach $ 300 million total initially, not counting international and continuous monopolized sales for years to come before my patents expire. So with a small initial investment capitals in my inventions, the potential risks are minimal and the returns are relatively great. Being an experienced licensed professional mechanical engineer and fluent in Chinese, I will surely help at all stages of develpoment and manufacture thereof if requested. My commercialization plans are wide open, which include but not limited, to the following: 1. Sell all my rights of the inventions for a lump sum. 2. License the exclusive rights of my inventions for a front fee and royalty. 3. Develop and manufacture the new products in a joint venture with an equal investment/working partner(s). The listed starting bidding price $80,000. is for my aforementined commercialization plan #2. Detail purchase agreements for all or any plans will follow pending Buyer's plan selection and bid value.
