It incorporates the best of both hard and soft back plate systems. Designed as a soft plate harness, you can convert it to a hard plate system by sliding either an aluminum or stainless steel back plate in behind the back pad for the extra support/weight found only in a hard back plate system. It has a pull dump tunnel on each shoulder pad, adjustable quick release chest strap, 2 adjustable shoulder D rings, 2 adjustable waist D rings, 2 1 inch butt D rings, a 1 inch quick release crotch strap with a sewn in Diver Propulsion Vehicle ring and a stainless steel buckle. It is compatible with all OMS bladders and accessories and as well as many others. The new IQ Pack incorporates the "soft/hard" concept (the optional backplate slides in behind the back pad), form fit, easy on/off has been re-engineered to provide a more streamline appearance and fit. There are now (2) butt mounted D-Rings, (3) D-Rings per side, (1) adjustable D-Ring on each side of the harness chest area (additional optional D-Rings can be added) and (2) D-Rings located at the oblique (waist) area. Additionally, an optional single cylinder Cam Band system has been integrated into the back of the IQ Allowing for very lightweight travel. OMS Single Bladder BC 45 lb. lift The 45 lb single bladder retraction band wing uses 1000 denier Cordura nylon backed by 5 to 6.0 oz. of Urethane to prevent abrasion and to increase puncture resistance. This is superior to most competitors who use little or no urethane backing. This leaves their products far more susceptible to punctures and abrasions. Housed inside the nylon cover is a 210 Denier Nylon bladder backed with 3.8 oz. of Urethane. The unique OMS elastomeric bands increase the versatility of the bladder. They help eliminate air shift by evenly compressing the bladders which prevents a massive air shift that can occure on non banded bladders. They reduce drag and snag potential by retracting the bladder to a width less than the divers shoulders. Also, by adding or removing bands in different parts of the bladder, the diver can more easily adjust A. lateral trim to compensate for stage bottles, cameras, etc and/or B. Horizontal trim e.g. head up, down or level. It has a pull dump located on the diver’s lower left and an inflator hose exiting the center or slightly off center of the BC Diver’s side. It also has 4 cam band slots located in the non inflated section for mounting single cylinders.
