The 12w HID light head can be held in your hand or you can affix the optional Goodman Handle (Fig. 1) or mount to a helmet. Phantom lights use PCB’s that are field replaceable, incorporate high reliability magnetic reed switches and 50 degree C thermal cutoff switches to prevent fires. The actuation switch incorporates a high strength Nylon lockdown screw to prevent accidental “turn On/Off”. Captured O-Rings are utilized at the cord interface to the head and canister sealing areas resulting in a less than .5% failure rate! Additionally all lights, before leaving the factory, are wet pot tested to 100 meters.
