This allows them to be fully deployed in the millisecond between tip contact and blade contact, resulting in devastating entry-wound diameter.   While other kinds of over-the-top expandables are still in the process of blade deployment as the arrow penetrates the hide, Rage broadhead blades are fully expanded from the moment they enter game. The result is entry wounds up to twice the diameter of conventional fixed-blade and other expandable broadheads. What's more, Rage's ShockLock System is rubber-band-free. An internal locking system holds the blades back until impact, when it instantly deploys them.
