The Gorin Iaito is designed especially for the practice of Iaido. It has a steel blade making it stronger than other training swords made with an aluminum alloy. It is lighter than a traditional Katana. The blade has a full length Bo-Hi (blood groove on both sides) with a beautiful distinct Hamon line and a generous curve. We like the Gorin Iaito's leather handle wrap which is more durable than the cotton Ito on the Nami. The Gorin Iaito is now being made in 4 different blade lengths.
