Total yield is 4 cubic feet, which will float almost 225 pounds of dead weight.This is double the density of standard pour foam. The added density is excellent when you need a tougher foam. The cell walls are thicker and able to support more weight. It expands almost 12 times it's original volume. It is also known as "liquid styrofoam" or "por in place foam", although technically it is a urethane foam. In some cases this product is used as a casting resin.To use, mix a small amount of each component together and then pour into any cavity that is needed to fill. Within a few minutes it will rise and cure. It is resistant to gasoline and oil, and you could fiberglass directly over it although it is not necessary.This product is ideal for adding flotation to a sailboat, motorboat, canoe, kayak, jon boat, runabout, or pontoon boat. It makes good castings, and can be used to support unusual structures including bathtubs and spas.
