IMPORTANT FITTING and sizing The Roces soft-side boots may be widened by the use of a hair dryer. Warm boots so they are flexible, but not hot. Put the skates on and wear the skates until cool. This may be done a total of three times to achieve maximum width of the skates. When trying on boots, flex your knees into a normal skating stance , this will move the heel into the heel cup. You can also do this by sitting in a chair and banging your heel back into the heal cup. If your ankles are pronated (roll to the inside), correcting this problem with an insert will change your shoe/skate size down one size. When trying on skates, tighten the laces and strap, as your skates should fit VERY snug for optimum performance.
