Description
I will add pictures before the end of the auctionI have received an odd mix of messages about this cue and I have even posted the question and my response when appropriate. I want to answer some of the FAQ before they are asked. Are you crazy? Maybe but the last time they sent me to Bellevue they let me go. I bought my first GS, used, in the early 1980's for $300 and at that time the guys in the pool room thought I was nuts. I still have it and play with it today. Value is relative and you have to have money to spend. What I mean is, if spending $30,000 will not change your life style, then you can fairly comment on the price. Why would anyone pay that much for a cue? There have been documented sales of cues for much more, it's a different league. How did I end up with the cue? Basically I knew all the parties involved. I have been away from the pool world for a long time but there was a time when I would be recognized as one of the regulars. Why am I selling it? I am acting at the agent for the owner who cannot sell it personally.Along with the cue the buyer will receive the check that was used to pay for the cue. GS signed the back of the check before it was cashed. I also have the shipping label addressed to the buyer in GS's handwriting.
