All you have to do is put a blade in it and you will be ready to go. I have found that you can put the blade in the end which was the butt end with no problem if you don't want to cut it down a lot. This shaft measures just under 52" but you can cut it to whatever length you need. It is in good condtion with a few nicks and marks here and there but nothing that will affect the use and performance of this shaft. Winner to pay shipping of $12 within the Continental US (Hawaii, Alaska, and Canada will be $16 and Canadian buyers must pay via money order due to tracking issues I have had involving paypal payments). I will combine shipping for multiple wins that can be shipped together. I try to be as accurate as possible in my auction descriptions.
