Appraised By: Alicia Colvin Appraiser Comments: Circa: 1920 This is a Madison Antique Pocket Billiard by Brunswick Balke Collender. This Art Deco style Antique Pocket Billiard is furnished in quartered oak with American walnut rail caps. The slate is Vermont grade and doweled pins lock the slate together. Authenticity: The expert, Alicia Colvin, is of the opinion that this item IS authentic.Reason: The cut in the wood, especially at the bottom of the legs and the leather bound pockets proves its authenticity. I do believe it has been refurbished. It would be a miracle to have felt that looked that good after 88 years.
