The bike is anything but stock! I swapped out the fork (which still has room to be cut) for the Easton EC 90 aero...much more aero, and much lighter ($450 retail)! Also, I took the heavy and "non-aero" stock bar off and replaced it with the Easton Attack TT aero carbon bar ($500 retail). The bike is now suprisingly light for a TT bike. The levers on the Easton bar are the EXTREMELY aero Vision Tech levers. The bike is now built for speed! I rode the bike about once a week for a couple of months and raced 2 TT's with it, and that's it (general ware and tare only)! I made a few other upgrades (in my opinion): I installed an FSA ceramic (red version) mega exo bottom bracket, swapped the wheels out for the smooth Easton EA 70's, put an Oval Stem (80mm) on the front end, and changed the seat to an older (more comfortable...again, my opinion) sella italia SLR titanium. Otherwise the bike has the stock parts (see specialized website, go to "bikes" then "archive" and click on tech specs). This bike has obviously never been crashed; it has been taken care of like a baby. One important note is that I did cut the seatpost to save some weight...it still provides enough exposed seatpost for a rider 5'5"-5'6" (after all, its a 49); I had a shop mechanic do this, so its a professional job.
