Description
Vehicle Description This is a premium Sundancer 270, one of the nicest on the Illinois river. Except for the past two weeks, it has always been stored either indoors or under a covered slip in the summer. In other words, everything that is supposed to be white IS, no sun damage/discolorization. We really hate to sell our baby, but due to medical problems, we just can't use it much........SO.......it is priced below Blue Book and priced to sell. Our Credit Union is offering 100% financing because of the premium condition of the boat. This boat has the economical 5.7 L, (350) Merc engine which is a great deal considering the cost of gas. 95% of our boating was slow cruising, (putt-putt), and the gas savings with the 5.7 was fantastic. Top end is still a respectable 32 MPH, with optimal cruising at 26 MPH. Oil/filter changes twice yearly and all new rubber boots on the outdrive two years ago. This boat has so many extras, I know I'm going to forget something important: Central Heat/AC LCD TV W/ amplified outdoor Shakespear antenna, (the round disc on the bow) Claritan AM/FM/Cass W/ 6 CD Changer.... with 4 extra disc cassettes....1000 Watt Amp...10" non-powered subwoofer. The stock outside Claritan speakers were replaced with the top of the line Clariton Marine and the 1000 Watt amp drives these two speakers plus the woofer. The stock amp drives the inside speakers. Incredable sound system. A three battery, series 29, power system, two for the main bank, one in reserve. 120 Volt 2000 watt power inverter to run everything 120 Volts, except the AC. while out on the water. Electric skillets, , blender...it handles them all. Nice for charging your cell phones when out on the water. No more mud baths with this windlass. (electric anchor) New quality carpet in the cockpit. Cockpit cover, bimini tops, and full camper canvas are all in top notch condition. Other items include a S/S prop, VHF radio, dual voltage refrigerator, microwave, electric/fuel stove, full head, macerator, remote spotlight, hot water heater, convertable V-berth, Bravo 2 outdrive, removable stainless steel cooking grill. Transom shower also. .A four bladed S/S prop available, listed ----------------------------------------------------. The pictures were taken Memorial Day weekend 2008, downtown Peoria, IL. and in our driveway. The Buy it Now price is our lowest acceptable price and well below Blue Book. It is priced to sell. Feel free to call me with questions, 309-251-7230 and I can provide many references from our boat club members who have known the boat and us for many years. The engine has 985 hours on it and my estimate is that 90% of those hours were at 1100 RPM's which is our main cruising speed. We are an older couple with little need to get anywhere fast. We enjoyed cruising at 5 MPH looking for wildlife along the shore line and enjoying nature. I did open the throttle up at least once a week so carbon did not build up in the engine. I have had requests for a mechanics opinoin of the engines condition and I will do so. I am editing this on 07/08/08, so it will take a week or so to get that. The engine has not been abused or run hard and I expect the engine to have many, many hours left on it before a rebuild is needed.
