Vehicle Description Hello Folks and thank you for taking a look at my beautiful Hatteras. I have owned it 5 y ears. Paid $102,500 for it, and proceeded to do about $15K in work including new interior and some fiberglass work. I lived on it while I was working as a pilot out of BWI airport. She has been kept in a covered slip at Kent Narrows MD. The slip can go with the boat, and it is a perfect set up for someone working out of the Washington / Baltimore area wanting a full time or part time live-a-board. A great lifestyle I tell you. My job has taken me out of the area, and the boat needs a new owner. Built in 1976, this boat "Pilot House" is an above average boat. Not new, but cleans up and shows nice. Engines run perfect and have about 2,200 hours total time on them. New risers and fairly major work was done on the boat back in 1998 including new paint etc... It has bee 2 years since I pulled her out and she is due for bottom paint. I am now asking $85,000, and will entertain reasonable offers. I would also entertain an aircraft in trade +/- cash. If your offer is accepted, I require a $2,500 fully refundable deposit to be sent to me within 48 hours of the auctions end. You will be obligated to take the boat through "survey" by a qualified professional surveyor. Including sea trials and pull for bottom inspection. If at that time you are not satisified with the condition of the boat, your deposit will be refunded in full. Do the sea trials first, and when the boat is pulled for bottom inspection, I will pay for new bottom paint and zincs. This is whether you buy it or not. That's just part of the deal. To me the only weakness in the boat are the aged electronics. Radios are fine, but a new GPS / Radar would be nice! Thanks again for considering my boat!
