IT WAS THE BEST KEPT SECRET WEAPON USED TO WIN THE RECENT ROUND OF NSW PREMIER STATE CUP 2008 - NEWCASTLE.   Please let me state that the secret is out......... This clutch was used by the winner Jason Hrynuk and second placed Peter Lawler only in the final. Yes these two drivers were unique. They were the only two drivers in the field to have the RED CLUTCH fitted for this event. Both drivers were going OK during the heats and pre final without this clutch. Qualifying in fixed drive form at about fourth and fifth position. In that final both changes to their engines fitted with the new red clutch. Starting from the third row for the final they both showed a turn of speed unseen during the heats. It was said by one of their mechanics after the race that with this clutch in place both drivers were 2 to 4 tenths of a second faster in the final. This Claim Would Seem Unbelievable.
